・Why don't you join us？
（一緒に食べない？）

（お昼ご飯は、もう食べた？）
・How about a drink？
（一杯どう？）
　　＊How about ～（名詞や動名詞）？で、人を誘うときに使える。

・Let's go to the all-you-can-eat chinese place！
（食べ放題の中華料理店に行きましょうよ！）
・I'll buy you dinner.
（夕食をおごるよ）

（どこで食べる？）

・I know a good place for dinner.
（夕飯にいいお店を知ってるわ）
　　 ＊I know a good place for dinner. Would you like to go there？だとより明確に誘っていることになります。

◆have lunchと、have a lunchの違い（breakfast,dinnerなども同じ）
通常「お昼を食べる」という場合には、have lunchで冠詞はつきません。これは、その行為を指しているからです。have a lunchは、イメージしている食事がある場合に使われます。
　Ex.You can have a lunch there for 1000 yen.
（その店は1000円でランチが食べられる）
I have a lunch to go to.
（これから、ランチの予定がある）
I had a light breakfast.
（軽い朝食を食べた）

（１）（人を誘うシーン）
　　Sara: Hi! Jane and I are going out for dinner. Why don't you join us？
　　Jane: We're checking out the new Italian place.
　　R: Can I？ Thanks a lot.

（２）（レストランの入り口で）
　　S: Do you have a table for three？
　　Host: Sorry, we're full at the moment.
　　S: We'll wait. When can we get a table？
　　Host: There's a twenty-minute wait.
　　S: Oh, we can't wait that long. We'll try another restaurant. Thanks anyway.

（３）（テーブルに着いたとき）
　　Order taker: Good evening. Here are the menus.Would you like any drinks？
　　B: Yes, a dry martini for me, and a fruit juice for her.
　　Order taker: What would you like for dinner？
　　B: I'd like a steak and a green salad. C: I'll have a seafood special.

（４）(ステーキセットを頼んだとき)
　　F: Can I have a sirloin steak, please？
　　Order taker: How would you like your steak?
